Easy Collections on Kindle 3 – Use Koll3ction! (English version)

The new program by Hungarian Kindle-fan Erwinke (Janos Fogas) provides an easy way to handle/manage Collections on Kindle 3. The Koll3ctions helps you to easily

create collections for books on Kindle 3 automatically based on predefined folders on PC/Kindle: folder name -> Collection name, content of folder (files/books) links to Collection.

also scanning pictures and audible folders

create automatic backup of Kindle collections.json file (this file contains collection informations on Kindle3)

easy to use at command prompt (Run Koll3ctions.bat)

supported formats: azw, azw1, txt, mobi, prc, pdf, zip, cbz, aa, aax, mp3.

The program runs on Windows and Linux as well! Let’s see how the program works step-by-step! 1. Connect the Kindle 3 to your PC! 2. At first, you need to create the desired stucture of folders for books inside the Kindle documents folder. There are(Example1)

(We can create these folders and files on your PC also and copy them to Kindle3 documents). 3. Start and run the program on your PC with Koll3ctions.bat! 4. After successfully finishing, restart your Kindle! (It is necessary to re-read the json file on Kindle, which contains collection informations). Push HOME/Menu and Settings/MENU/Restart!
